The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Course stands alone in the industry with the highest combination of diving knowledge and experience. No other agency’s advanced diver level compares! To earn the certification for Advanced Open Water Diver with SSI, you must complete 4 specialty courses and have done a total of at least 24 dives. Together with an SSI Instructor you will choose which specialties you want to do and when to do them. You can start with this certification right after tour Open Water Diver course or after the Advanced Adventurer or Specialty DIver courses, that’s totally up to you again!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The course consists of four specialties of your choice. The costs of the course therefore depend on which specialties you want to take. If you find it hard to make a decision, you may want to take a look at our Advanced Adventurer course, which gives you the opportunity to test-dive 5 specialties!<\/p>\n

Prerequisites:<\/h5>\n
Open Water Diver (or Junior Open Water Diver) certification and a current diving medical (within the last 12 months).<\/p>\n

Course Outline:<\/h5>\n
The course consists of four specialties, which you can take whenever you want. Most specialties consist of a theory night and 1 weekend of open water diving.\u00a0The amount of theory and the number of theory nights and open water dives, are therefore dependant on your choices. Please note that, besides four specialties, you need to have done at least 24 dives to earn this certification.<\/p>\n
