SSI Search and Recovery Specialty Course<\/span><\/h5>\n

\"card---spec-search\"Have you ever accidently lost something underwater and haven’t been able to find it back? Even if you haven’t, there will always be a time where it will be beneficial to know the appropriate techniques to search for lost objects under water. With the SSI Search and Recovery Specialty you will learn to plan a search and recovery operation in a team, to perform different search patterns with the help of standard equipment and the correct handling of one ore more lifting bags in order to bring heavy objects securely to the surface. After having taken the Search and Recovery Specialty course, you will not only be able to search for treasure effectively, but to bring it back to the surface and recover it as well!
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nCourse Fee:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

AUD$395.- A $100 deposit will secure your place on the course, with the balance due on the first day.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nPrerequisites:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

Open Water Diver (or Junior Open Water Diver) certification and a current diving medical (within the last 12 months).
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nCourse Outline:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

The course consists of 1 theory session and 4 open water dives.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n– Instruction
\n– Four open water dives
\n– Specialty certification card

* Please note that it is recommended that you use your own equipment when participating in this course. Snorkel Safari Adelaide’s friendly shop and dive team members are happy to assist you in choosing your equipment. However, if you would rather hire your equipment, you can do so at a cost of $50.00 for the duration of the course.<\/p>\n
