Deep Diving Specialty

Go where few have gone before by taking the SSI Deep Diving Specialty course. To dive below 100 ft./30 m.you need the right skills and the right knowledge and that is precisely what you get when you are doing the Deep Diving Specialty Course. It will teach you how to plan your deep dive, the potential hazards, how to do repetitive deep diving and everything else involved with going deeper than everyone else.

 

Course Fee:

AUD$495.- A $100 deposit will secure your place on the course, with the balance due on the first day.

 

Prerequisites:

Open Water Diver certification and a current diving medical (within the last 12 months).

 

Course Outline:

The course runs over 2 weekends and includes theory and pool workshops and 4 open water dives.

 

Inclusions:

– All air fills
– All learning materials (manuals, slates, etc.)
– Four open water dives.
– Instruction
– Specialty certification card

 

Equipment Requirements:

Full SCUBA Gear*

 

Recommended:

Gloves, Finger Spool, Knife, Underwater Slate, Underwater Torch and a Whistle or Surface Marker Bouy (SMB).

* Please note that it is recommended that you use your own equipment when participating in this course. Snorkel Safari Adelaide’s friendly shop and dive team members are happy to assist you in choosing your equipment. However, if you would rather hire your equipment, you can do so at a cost of $100.00 for the duration of the course.
