South Australia offers some of the worlds best temperate water dive sites with clean, uncrowded waters and lots of diving options. Our reefs are among the worlds most biologically diverse and offer amazing opportunities for both experienced and beginning divers. Dive the jewel in South Australia’s diving crown: the Ex-HMAS Hobart, or one of the many historic wrecks that vary from easy dives with no penetration to deep dives with limited visibility and strong currents!

Our marine life is also varied and prolific. What about  a dive with Giant Australian Cuttlefish at Whyalla, or one in the company of dozens of playful seals at Rapid Head? Or dive Australia’s number one jetty at Rapid Bay to look for the world famous Leafy Sea Dragons!

Diving is possible all year round! During summer the waters are warm and calm and during winter they are beautifully clear. The Dive Shack runs boat charters every weekend to the best dive spots in the state  (take a look at our calender to see what’s going on this month). Isn’t the dive spot of your choice on there? Give our friendly dive team a call at the shop as there is a good chance that we can change the schedule or offer you a good alternative! Found a dive that you would like to do, but can’t find a buddy or would you like a guide to go with you? Don’t hesitate to contact us, as we can definitely be of service!
