Local Dive Sites
South Australia offers some of the worlds best temperate water dive sites with clean, uncrowded waters and lots of diving options. Our reefs are among the worlds most biologically diverse and offer amazing opportunities for both experienced and beginner divers.
Dive one of South Australia’s most renowned sites: the Ex-HMAS Hobart, a 1964 guided missile destroyer in the Royal Australia Navy. Or one of the many historic wrecks that vary from easy dives with no penetration to deep dives with limited visibility and strong currents!
Our marine life is varied and prolific. Dive with Giant Australian Cuttlefish at Whyalla, the of dozens of playful seals at Rapid Head, or dive some of Australia’s best Jetties, Rapid Bay to look for the world famous Leafy Sea Dragons or Edithburgh Jetty and experience some world class macro diving.
Diving in Adelaide is possible all year round. During summer the waters are warm and calm and during winter they are beautifully clear.
