Long-snouted Boarfish
It is suggested that the Long-Snouted Boardfish is territorial over small ares of reef and will confront divers who enter their territories. Dark stripes run obliquely across the white body. Long-snouted Boarfish usually occur in small groups or in pairs. and are commonly found around inshore reefs around rocky ledges or caves. Approach slowly and do not touch as their spines are long and venomous extending along the dorsal, pelvic and anal fins!
